Green Key label : Where luxury respects nature

We are proud to be certified by the Green Key label, the leading sustainable tourism label for tourist accommodation and restaurants, developed in France by the Teragir association. We are proud to be one of 3,035 properties in France to have been awarded this label. At the Hotel Bowmann this is reflected in particular in our energy and water conservation and waste management practices. The Clef Verte certification reflects our commitment to continuously improving our sustainable development practices while offering our guests a high-end, environmentally friendly hotel experience.

The Hôtel Bowmann is passionate about keeping Parisian cultural heritage alive over time. Our aim is to awaken and sensitize our teams and customers to this exceptional heritage.

A building with an ashlar facade, engraved with the famous moldings and cornices, the Bowmann Hotel has noble floors with singularly high ceilings and balconies on certain floors duplicated throughout Paris by the most famous prefect of the Seine, Georges Eugène Haussmann.

Reducing our plastic consumption 

Our technical and maintenance teams have implemented strict procedures to reduce our carbon footprint:

  • Replacement of plastic bottles by recycled cardboard bottles.
  • Use of Lalique eco-pumps that are refillable, high-end and more environmentally friendly, eliminating single-use plastic. 
  • Limiting single-use plastics at 99 Haussmann restaurant and bar.
 

Sustainable flavors

Our culinary philosophy celebrates sustainability, seasonality, and cultural authenticity. At the 99 Haussmann restaurant and bar, we prioritize local ingredients sourced from producers in the Ile de France region, supporting regional communities. Guests can enjoy vegetarian and vegan options carefully crafted by our Chef Charly Salierno, as well as menus showcasing the best of French cuisine. Every morning at the 99 Haussmann restaurant, our breakfast buffet features seasonal fruits, homemade pastries, fresh fruit juices, and local specialties, including organic honey. 

 

Reduce waste, sort and recycle 
 

  • Selective sorting is in place in all our departments: specific garbage cans have been set up in partnership with 'Les Joyeux Recycleurs'.
  • We encourage the dematerialization of procedures to use less paper.
  • At breakfast, we favor “bulk” products rather than packaged individual portions.
 

Reduce our water and energy consumption

  • Showers and sanitary facilities in our rooms and suites are equipped with flow reducers. 
  • Use of low-energy light bulbs for all fixtures.
  • Choice of ecological cleaning products.
  • We offer our guests a flexible cleaning service, so that we can change their sheets and towels on request to reduce laundry-related consumption. 
 

Customer awareness 

Last but not least, Hotel Bowmann stands out for its commitment to a sustainable future for its customers. Our team is at guests' disposal to organize their airport transfers by electric car, combining comfort and respect for the environment. What's more, we offer guests the option of changing bed and bath linen every other day, promoting a more responsible approach without compromising comfort.
